Hi everyone its Kersten here! I started Country Time Books in May of 2021 as a way to share my passion of reading and just all things books, with others who share the same passion. Reading seems to be taken for granted these days as you generally don't see many "bookworms" about these days. I thought blogging would be the perfect way to share my thoughts and reviews, as well as connect with other who share a similar passion.
My passion for all things books and reading was born with my grandfather (who sadly passed away in January of 2021). He then handed down this same passion to my mother, who has since blessed me with the ability to live not one life but many. Since January of 2015 her and I compete to see who can read the most books in a year, though I've never won it's been a great way for both of us to stay motivated and recommend different books to each other and even some friends and family.
When I'm not reading and forced to hangout in reality, you can find me spending time with my beautiful kitten Xuri, fishing, swimming, sitting around a bonfire and enjoying everything small town country life has to offer.
